Best wishes
to Nancy Elliot and to
Harold Harrison from
Keeper's Cottage. Both have
been under the weather
recently. Gwen Simons is
continuing her recuperation
at home. We wish them all
well.
Calor Village of
the Year At the
annual presentation of
the Calor Village of the
Year competition we were
surprised and very
pleased to learn that we
had won the section
'Community - A better
place to live' , and the
£100 cash prize will
probably go towards our
renovation of the
village pavilion.
Thanks to Margaret
Campbell for submitting
the Calor entry. This
is in addition to the
Warwickshire Best
Village awards where we
gained third place, a
certificate and £50
prize for our 'Business
in the Community' entry.
This entry was put
together by Chris Priddy,
Margaret Campbell, Christal
Worth, and David Freer.
Car Boot Sales on the
Cricket Field thanks to
everyone who has helped on
the three boot sales this
summer. We have raised much
needed funds towards the
repair and renovation of the
pavilion. Special thanks to
Howard Richards for his help
with the car parking.
Easenhall Horticultural Show
& Fete Our thanks must go
to all those who supported
our annual show on September

To our loyal band of
energetic workers who gave
their time and skills to man
the tables and provide a
variety of activities; to
the guests and visitors who
attended and gave so
generously on the day; to
the cake makers and ladies
who served teas and cakes
all afternoon; to the
horticultural organisers,
judges and the contributors
whose high quality entries
filled the marquees.
Congratulations must go to
Mike Stone who won the Men`s
cookery competition.
Delicious pizza!

who brought their owners to
the dog show. Many
