Easenhall Horticultural Show & Fete
Saturday September 5th 2009
Calling all gardeners, cooks and
children: Do
you grow flowers, vegetable, fruit
or houseplants? Do you make jams,
cakes or biscuits? Do you arrange
flowers? Do you enjoy
competitions? Why not enter the
Annual Open Show at Easenhall this
year? Just ask for a free schedule
at the paper shop in Brinklow, Malt
Kiln Farm shop or phone 832268.
Schedules as usual on the doorstep
of the Moorings, Main Street. To
help with paperwork let us know by
the Friday what you are likely to
enter, then bring your exhibits on
the morning of Saturday September 5th
and come along in the afternoon to
join the fun of the fete. We are
hoping that lots of men are having a
go at the popular Men's Cookery
competition - a Pizza to the recipe
provided.
Other attractions this year include
the popular Novelty Dog Show,
entries on the day at the show ring.
Do you own the dog with the
waggiest tail? The one most like its
owner? The best behaved dog or the
best veteran? We are expecting
Mr. Oddsocks who will provide
children’s entertainment. Facepainting
and a bouncy castle will be part of
the sideshows and games, together
with Tombola, books, raffle,
various other stalls and delicious
homemade cakes and teas.
